Well, I took the plunge and went ahead and self-published A Vampire’s Dream. Believe me I learned a lot, including the frustration that comes when you don’t realize your version of Word is so antiquated Noah probably used it to keep track of the animals, two by two. It’s amazing how smoothly everything went once I’d installed an update – yeah! But, if anyone out there is thinking of self-publishing, I highly recommend using Pronoun Publishing. The site is easy to navigate, with lots of helpful tips and advice along the way, and trust me I had a ton of questions (note to self: check out the FAQ page before sending off numerous e-mails!) and they distribute to all the major sites.
So A Vampire’s Dream is listed on my books page, with an excerpt and the links so you can download from your favorite site. It will be free until October 10th, when it will revert back to its normal price of $0.99. Still a great bargain, right? A printed version will also available through Amazon.
My Corsets & Carriages trilogy is still set to release in January & February, 2018. The books have been given individual titles: Part one is Mischance, part two Resolve and part three Salvation. l will do a cover reveal, either one at a time or all three together, as soon as Kensington makes them available. In the meantime, I’m excited to see what they come up with!
As for my current WIP ... sigh. Sad to say I had an epiphany while vacuuming (funny how that sometimes happens) and realized the story would be so much better if one of my main characters was to die – at the beginning! So back to chapter two, and one massive re-write is taking place. Not sure this will be done by the end of the year, but it will be worth it, I promise. (Maybe I should stop vacuuming...?)
As always, thank you for reading my books and feel free to send me an e-mail about anything you like! I promise I’ll reply.
